
Mixing Education and E-Commerce for a Global Cocktail Brand
A Bold, Resource-First Approach to UX

Our discovery process included stakeholder interviews, factory tours, audience research, and a hands-on mixology workshop. One core insight stood out: their audience doesn’t just want products. They want to create something memorable. We restructured the site around that desire, prioritizing education and interaction over traditional e-commerce pathways. The new site integrates their web app directly into the shopping experience, offering thousands of recipes, tips, and techniques right alongside the product catalog.

Designing for Flavor, Color, and Connection

Visually, the site pulls from the natural vibrancy of Master of Mixes’ ingredients, using a bold, colorful interface that emphasizes the cocktail experience. Custom buttons, interchangeable product features, and interactive recipe content help make every page feel alive. We also built in social media and video integrations to reinforce Master of Mixes’ role as both a product and content brand. The result is an immersive, modular platform designed for both play and purchase.
With a flexible system of product pages, recipe templates, and seasonal homepage tools, Master of Mixes now has the freedom to grow at their own pace while staying connected to their cocktail-loving audience.
