We began by digging into the stories that make the region unique, from whispered Bigfoot sightings to the rolling hills of the Bourbon Trail. These elements formed the core of the brand. The custom logo—featuring a Wildman silhouette cleverly integrated as the “A” in WILDMAN—conveyed both power and personality.

The visuals leaned into wild terrain and primal energy, while our messaging balanced challenge with charm. The result was a cohesive brand experience that made the event both feel larger than life and deeply local.

The Wildman Triathlon logo earned a Gold Addy Award for its originality and execution, but the real reward was the energy it brought to the event itself. What started as a local race has grew into a cultural celebration, drawing athletes and adventurers from across the region.
